As part of our efforts to deliver an exceptional holiday experience we are excited to offer our guests a visit to our beloved sailing boat ‘Armenistis’, moored conveniently across our hotel, in the marina Rethymno.
Our guests can enjoy guided tours of our prestigious company vessel, enjoying a drink onboard and marvelling at the views of our impressive city. Upon agreement, guests can also ‘set sail’ enabling ‘Armenistis’ to show them our majestic city from afar, whilst riding the deep blue waters of the Aegean that embrace the island of Crete.
Since her arrival in Greece ‘Armenistis’ has navigated all of the Aegean and knows its islands and hidden gems intimately. It would be our pleasure to have you onboard, to savour the dancing Aegean light and live a memorable adventure.
‘Armenistis’ was built over 30 months in Aalsmeer (Van Dam Nordia Shipyard) in the Netherlands and was launched in 2006. Her maiden voyage made in April that year, saw her set sail from the port of Ijmuiden in the Netherlands, stopping in England, Spain, Morocco and Tunisia before reaching her final destination in Lavrio, Attica, a trip of almost 3000 miles.
Built to the highest of safety regulations ‘Armenistis’ has three watertight sections and sits on two levels. This beautiful vessel has three lower level cabins, one master and two berths which can be interconnected, two bathrooms (heads), chart table, kitchen galley and engine room. The upper deck houses the cockpit-wheelhouse and spacious saloon.
